In the night my conscience warns me
Psalm 16 verse verse 7 says "I praise the Lord because he guides me, and in the night my conscience warns me." This is a wonderful text that reveals how God guides and protects His children. It also tells of the work of the holy spirit which works through our conscience guiding us and protecting us from evil and harm. How good it sounds to hear that even while we are sleeping the Lord warns us. The experience of the Psalmist who wrote this wonderful text and ours are no different . As we lie down, we may receive revelations through dreams or an idea may drop into my conscience or spirit. As it happens, we should know that our conscience is warning us, according to the guidance and spirit of the Lord. With this we may never strike our foot against the stone and even if we do not ehrken to teh warnings and we do strike our feet, the Holy Spirirt will guide us and soothe the pain and make sure that we are not harmed.
