Who crowns you with loving-kindness?

Bless the Lord Oh my soul; and all that is within me bless His holy name Bless the Lord Oh my soul and forget not his benefits Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving-kindness? And tender mercies Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep his anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities Psalm 103: 1-10 He has removed our transgressions For as the heavens are high above the earth So great are his mercy towards those who fear Him As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103: 11-12 H

Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture

Psalm 37 Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land. A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night

He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortresss; my God in Him, I will trust Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence He shall cover you with His feathers and under His wings you shall take refuge His truth shall be your shield and buckler You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, or the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lay waste at noonday A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you Only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High your dwelling place, Psalm 91:1-9 In their hands they shall bear you up No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He shall give his angels charge over you to ke

Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty,

The earth is the Lord’s and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart Who has not lifted his soul to an idol Nor sworn deceitfully He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face Lift up your heads O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors And the King of Glory shall come in Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle Psalm 24:1-8 He is the King of Glory Lift up your heads O you gates! Lift up you everlasting doors! And the king of glory shall come in Who is this king of glory, the Lord of hosts, He is the king of glory Psalm 24: 9-10 The Lord is the strength of my life The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit

Romans There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any

Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!

When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the Jews, and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, "What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?" Tobiah the Ammonite, who was at his side, said, "What they are building—if even a fox climbed up on it, he would break down their wall of stones!" Hear us, O our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity. Do not cover up their guilt or blot out their sins from your sight, for they have thrown insults in the face of [a] the builders. So we rebuilt the wall till all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart. But when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart

Psalm 27 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst, Seek ye

I know your deeds

These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead., Wake up, strengthen what remains and is about to die For I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Remember therefore, what you have received and heard, obey it and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief and you will not know what time I will come to you. Revelations 3:1-3 I will never blot out his name from the book of life Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes, they will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will like them be dressed in white, I will never blot out his name from the book of life but will acknowledge His name before my father and His angels. He, who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches. Revelations 3:4-6 An open door that no one can shut . I know your deeds, see; I have placed before y

Do not make me the scorn of the fool

I said, “I will guard my ways that I may not sin with my tongue; I will keep a muzzle on my mouth as long as the wicked are in my presence.” I was silent and still; I held my peace to no avail; my distress grew worse, my heart became hot within me. While I mused, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue: “LORD, let me know my end, and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. You have made my days a few handbreadths, and my lifetime is as nothing in your sight. Surely everyone stands as a mere breath. Selah Surely everyone goes about like a shadow. Surely for nothing they are in turmoil; they heap up, and do not know who will gather. “And now, O Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you. Deliver me from all my transgressions. Do not make me the scorn of the fool. I am silent; I do not open my mouth, for it is you who have done it. Remove your stroke from me; I am worn down by the blowsa of your hand. “You chastise mortals in punishment for sin, consumin

Make your way straight before me

Give ear to my words, O LORD; give heed to my sighing. Listen to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you I pray. O LORD, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I plead my case to you, and watch. For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil will not sojourn with you. The boastful will not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers. You destroy those who speak lies; the LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful. But I, through the abundance of your steadfast love, will enter your house, I will bow down toward your holy temple in awe of you. Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me. For there is no truth in their mouths; their hearts are destruction; their throats are open graves; they flatter with their tongues. Make them bear their guilt, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; because of their many transgressions cast them out, for they have rebelled against you. But let all who take refuge i

That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the spirit. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the spirit. Romans 8:1-4 For to be carnally minded is death, For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, The things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8: 5-6 But you are not in the flesh but in the Sprit of God dwells in you Because the carnal mind is enmity against

O LORD, heal me, for my bones are shaking with terror

O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger, or discipline me in your wrath. Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are shaking with terror. My soul also is struck with terror, while you, O LORD—how long? Turn, O LORD, save my life; deliver me for the sake of your steadfast love. For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who can give you praise? Psalm 6: 1-5 I am weary with my moaning I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping. My eyes waste away because of grief; they grow weak because of all my foes. Psalm 6: 6-7 The LORD has heard my supplication Depart from me, all you workers of evil, for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping. The LORD has heard my supplication; the LORD accepts my prayer. All my enemies shall be ashamed and struck with terror; they shall turn back, and in a moment be put to shame. Psalm 6: 8-10 Save me from all those who persecute me Oh Lord my God in you

But the Lord shall endure forever.

I will praise You O Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all your marvelous works I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to you name O most High. When my enemies turn back they shall fall and perish at your presence. For you have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness. You have rebuked the nations; You have destroyed the wicked You have blotted out their name forever and ever. O enemy destructions are finished forever! And you have destroyed cities even their memories have perished. But the Lord shall endure forever. He has prepared His throne for judgment. Psalm 9:1-7 ;For you Oh Lord have not forsaken those who seek you He shall judge the world in righteousness and He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble And those who know your name will put their trust in you; for you Oh Lord have not forsaken those who seek you Psalm 9:8-10

Do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ in partiality

My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ in partiality. For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, And you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place and say to the poor man “you stand there”, “or “sit here at my footstool” Have you not shown partiality among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? Listen my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom? Which he promised to those who love Him? James 2:1-5 But you have dishonoured the poor man But you have dishonoured the poor man Do no the rich oppress and drag you into the courts? Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called If you really fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself,” you do well; But if you show partiality, you com

They are worthless and should be despised

The Lord made the earth by His power; By His wisdom He created the world And stretched out the heavens At His command, the waters above the sky roar; He brings cloud from the ends of the earth He makes lightning flash in the rain and sends the winds from His store room At the sight of this, people feel stupid and senseless Those who make idols are disillusioned, because the gods they make are false and lifeless They are worthless and should be despised They will be destroyed when the Lord comes to deal with them The God of Jacob is not like them. He is the one who made everything And He has chosen Israel to be His own very people. The Lord Almighty is His name. Jeremiah 10 12-16 I will make you well again But now, all who devour you will be devoured And all your enemies will be taken away as prisoners All who oppress you will be oppressed And all who plunder you will be plundered I will make you well again I will heal your wounds Though your enemies say: ‘Zion is an outcast, no one car
