Called From Your Mother’s Womb-Joseph Prince

Image
Galatians 1:15 15 … God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, Beloved, you are not an accident with no destiny. God has called you from your mother’s womb. You have a special calling and a destiny in Christ, and it is all by His grace! There are Christians who are called by God to be doctors. But I believe that among them are those separated from their mothers’ wombs for the healing ministry. They are passionate about seeking cures to alleviate the sufferings of humanity. Likewise, I think that there are Christians who are called by God to be teachers in secular schools. But among them are those separated from their mothers’ wombs to be Bible teachers. What gives them tremendous fulfillment is seeing lives saved and transformed under their teaching. What about those famous magicians you see performing tricks on television? They have a love for the mystical and supernatural. If they were t...

Claim Your Restoration!-Joseph Prince

Acts 3:20–21-Joseph Prince 20 … that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things... As a believer, you have a right to expect restoration of the things that the devil has stolen from you. It may be your health, marriage or finances, but payback time is definitely coming! Acts 3:20–21 tells us that before Jesus comes back for His church, we will experience “the times of restoration of all things”. What a hope that gives us, knowing that God will restore to us all things before Jesus returns! My friend, if the devil is attacking you in any area, tell God, “Father, I will not allow the devil to rob me of my health, marriage, children or finances. These blessings are blood-bought and paid for by Your Son!” Claim your restoration in Christ and heaven will hear you. There will be such times of restoration of all things to the body of Christ th...

Forgiveness Is For The Undeserving-Joseph Prince

Matthew 18:21 21Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Peter asked the Lord how often he should forgive his brother. The Lord’s answer to him was simple: Up to 70 times seven times. (Matthew 18:22) In other words, all the time! “Well, Pastor Prince, he does not deserve my forgiveness.” Neither did you deserve God’s forgiveness. There is not a single person alive or dead who did not break all 10 of God’s commandments. There is no such thing as a “partial sinner” or “great sinner”. All of us were great sinners when Jesus saved us. And when we realize that we are forgiven much, we will love much. (Luke 7:47) “Pastor Prince, how can you say that I have broken all of God’s commandments? I have never committed adultery.” My friend, Jesus said, “If you lust after a woman in your heart, you have already committed adultery with her.” (Matthew 5:28) That is God’s standard. Man looks outward, but God ...

You Are The Disciple Whom Jesus Loves

As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. John 15:9 I used to think that of all the disciples Jesus loved, John was most loved by the Lord because the Bible calls him “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” Then one day, I discovered that the phrase, “the disciple whom Jesus loved,” only appears in John’s Gospel. In other words, it was John who called himself the disciple whom Jesus loved! Was John being arrogant? Did Jesus love him more than the rest? No, Jesus loved all 12 disciples the same, but John knew it and he personalized and practiced Jesus’ love for him. My friend, that’s what you ought to do too. Don’t just say, “Yes, yes, Jesus loves everybody.” Say, “Jesus loves ME!” Say, “ I am the student whom Jesus loves,” or “ I am the mom whom Jesus loves!” Every day, personalize, practice and rest in Jesus’ love for you. Expect good things to happen to you when you believe that Jesus loves YOU in an intimate and personal way! ...

Know And Believe God’s Love For You-Joseph Prince

1 John 4:16 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us… You may know that God cares for you and loves you, and that He demonstrated His love for you by dying on the cross for you, but do you believe it? It is one thing to know about the love that God has for you, but another thing to actually believe it in your heart. It is one thing to know that the sun shines on us during the day. But it is another thing to believe that the sun is still shining even though we don’t feel its warmth and all we see are dark clouds. Sometimes we are slow in believing God’s love for us when we are going through a tough time. But God wants you to know and believe that He loves you in the midst of the deal falling through, when that job is slow in coming, when the boss is fault-finding or when your child still refuses to come home. In the midst of the pain, He wants you to know and believe that He is wholly on your side defe...

Once Righteous, Always Righteous

to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness… Daniel 9:24 You may have seen high-speed video footages of a caterpillar turning into a colorful butterfly. But have you ever seen a butterfly changing back into a caterpillar? Of course not! Why? Because it’s impossible! It’s the same with your salvation. Once you are saved, you are saved forever. The righteousness that you have in Christ is an everlasting one—you cannot become unrighteous again. Once you are born again as a child of God, it is impossible for you to become “unborn.” Once you are a saint washed by the blood of Jesus, in God’s eyes, you cannot revert to your old, unsaved sinner state. Even if you fall into sin, you are still the righteousness of God in Christ because your justification is not by works, but by faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:16). Let’s come back to the butterfly. Once in a while, the butterf...

Expect Good Things To Happen To You-Joseph Prince

Ephesians 6:17 17 And take the helmet of salvation… When the phone rings at odd times, most people think, “Oh dear, it must be bad news.” They don’t think, “I wonder what the good news is that it cannot wait till morning!” When we hear, “The boss wants to see you,” instinctively, we think, “Oh dear, this is not good.” But how do we know that it is not going to be about a promotion? Our minds are inclined toward the negative. So to guard our minds against negative thoughts, we are to put on “the helmet of salvation”, which is “the hope of salvation”. (1 Thessalonians 5:8) If you are going through a trial right now, putting on as a helmet the hope of salvation means that you have a confident expectation of good coming your way. It means that you choose to believe that this trial that you are going through is only temporary because God will see you through it. It means that you believe that this difficult period will end with ...

Rest In The Finished Work

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 Jesus has finished the work of saving and redeeming us (John 19:30), and when we believed in Jesus as our Savior, God placed us in Jesus’ finished work. Today, all we need to do is rest in the finished work. We rest in the finished work by simply believing that all the work to save us and keep us eternally forgiven, righteous and blessed is finished. This is important because there are many voices today telling us to work for God’s approval and acceptance before He will bless us—as if the work isn’t finished. My friend, the moment you try to finish what Christ has already finished, you fall into unbelief. So let go of your self-efforts and simply rest in the truth that whatever the blessing or success you need, you already have it in Christ Jesus through His finished work. Believe it, rest in it and se...

Grace For Each Day

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34 When the Israelites were in the wilderness, God fed them with manna each morning. All they had to do was collect the manna for the day. But the manna could not be kept for the next day or it would breed worms and stink (Exodus 16:13–20). The spiritual principle here is that God gives us manna or grace for each day. And the grace that He gives us for today is not meant to be “kept” or used for tomorrow. He gives you grace today for today’s needs. Don’t worry about tomorrow’s needs. When tomorrow comes, rest assured that there will be a fresh supply of His grace! If you spend precious time and energy today fretting about the needs of tomorrow, next week or next month, you’ll just get into a cycle of agitation, worry and fear. You’ll also miss out on what God’s grace is supplying you today. So quit worrying about to...

Righteousness And Not Sin Imputed To You-Joseph Prince

Romans 4:8 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.” You are blessed today because all your sins are forgiven in Christ. God does not count your sins against you. Instead, He counts you righteous in Christ. That is why you are the blessed man to whom the Lord does not and will not impute sin! What happens to such a man? Let’s look at the story of Jacob to find out. The Bible records how Jacob had deceived his father and cheated his elder brother Esau of his firstborn blessing. (Genesis 27:1–41) Yet, in spite of his sin of deception, God chose to speak to Jacob. And no, God did not say to this cheat, “You terrible sinner! How can you deceive your own father? You are cursed!” No, to deceitful Jacob, God said, “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants… Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will br...

‘Help Me Pray, Holy Spirit’-Joseph Prince

Jude 1:20 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, When my daughter Jessica was little, she woke up one night crying. She was not sick, but would not stop crying even though her mother and I tried to pacify her. I did not know what to do. I went to the restroom, sat on the floor and cried out, “Holy Spirit, You know what is wrong with my child. You know what she needs better than I do, so I yield her to You now.” I started praying in tongues and she stopped crying immediately! Now, I wish that such instantaneous results are the norm, but they are not. On another occasion, I experienced severe pain from the back of my neck to my shoulders. I prayed for healing, but the pain persisted for quite some time and I was quite concerned. One night, in my room, I knelt down and prayed, “Holy Spirit, You know this condition. I don’t know what it is, but I am asking You to make perf...

Only Jesus’ Finished Work Works

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. John 19:30 Whatever the problems confronting us today, there is only one solution for them—Jesus’ finished work. His perfect work at the cross covers our family life, finances, health, career…every area. It puts God righteously on our side, and enables us to be blessed with His provision and good success in all things. In contrast, our trust in our works will come to nothing, for there is nothing that we can do to earn God’s blessings. Today, if you’re facing a challenge, simply depend on His finished work and not your works. If you’re experiencing symptoms in your body, meditate on and believe that Jesus was scourged for your healing (Isaiah 53:5). If you’re in the midst of financial lack, meditate on and believe that Jesus was made poor at the cross so that you can be richly supplied in all things (2 Corinthians 8:9). Beloved, He has done ...

Jesus’ Blood Is On The Mercy Seat-Joseph Prince

Leviticus 16:14 14 He shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east side; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times. If you have watched the movie, Raiders Of The Lost Ark , you would remember that when the lid of the ark was lifted, strange-looking creatures floated out and destroyed the people around it. Interesting as it may be, this is biblically inaccurate — the ark of the Bible did not contain strange-looking creatures. What were the things inside it then? There were three items in the ark: the golden pot of manna, Aaron’s rod and two stone tablets on which God had written the Ten Commandments. (Hebrews 9:4) These items are actually symbols of man’s rebellion. The golden pot of manna represents man’s rejection of God’s provision. The rod of Aaron represents man’s rejection of God’s leadership and the two stone tablet...

Sin Cannot Stop God’s Grace!- Sin Cannot Stop God’s Grace!-Joseph Prince

Romans 5:20 20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, When a top executive is charged for corruption or a church minister is caught in the very act of adultery, you will probably hear the phrase “fallen from grace” being used of them. We have come to believe that when someone falls into sin, he falls from grace. But God wants us to know that when someone falls into sin, he does not fall from grace — he actually falls into grace! Thank God His grace is there to put the person back on his feet. The Bible tells of prostitutes and corrupt tax collectors — sinners — who fell into God’s grace and got back on their feet. If the sin in their lives could stop God’s grace, they would never have been able to receive His grace of healing, help and power to live right. Now, it is important you understand that God hates sin because it destroys our lives, relationships an...
