From Loveworld Radio

Dear Isabella,

Warm greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We welcome you specially to 2014.

Our Global New Year Eve Service with Pastor Chris was simply phenomenal; it was an awesome time in the presence of God and the Spirit of God launched us into this special year 2014. During the meeting, speaking by the Spirit of God, Pastor Chris proclaimed 2014 as A Year Of Greatness; a year for God to magnify you in every area of life and make you a wonder to your world.

A central scripture during the service was from Joshua 3:7; “And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.” Hallelujah

During the meeting, Pastor Chris also shared from Isaiah Chapter 60. Take time to study this chapter of the Bible. It is full of glorious promises from the Lord, demonstrations of His favor and goodwill towards us.

Isaiah 60:1-4 says “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.” Hallelujah

Verse 11 says “…thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.” And Verse 20 says “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.” Indeed the whole chapter is full of exciting promises that will characterize our lives in 2014.

Amidst the beautiful promises of Isaiah 60, there are 2 important instructions the Lord gives to us in this chapter, these represent our role in working with God in bringing to pass His promises revealed in this chapter.

The first is in verse 1, it says 'Arise and Shine'. To ‘Arise’ is to take action, it is to step out in faith on God’s Word, to take bold steps on the basis of God’s Word concerning you. What has God said about you, about your health, your business, and your finances? To ‘Arise’ is to get up and become what He has said. Next, to ‘Shine’ is to demonstrate the glory of God, it is to show forth His virtues and display His power and perfection. So God says to you in this scripture to step out on the Word and demonstrate the glory of God. Why? Because your light has come, your time has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Hallelujah. This is a call to action. Note that this scripture doesn’t say ‘sit back and observe, for your light is come’, it says “Arise and Shine, for your light is come".

The second vital instruction in this chapter is in verse 4, it says “Lift up thine eyes round about, and see” Oh! Glory to God! This is awesome. The principle of vision is a very important principle in the kingdom of God. Several times when the Lord brought His Word to His people, He would ask them to ‘See’, not because they weren’t using their optical eyes, rather, He was calling on a higher function of the human spirit, calling on them to use their imaginative ability and picture their desires from their spirits.

A classic example is the story of Joshua before the city of Jericho. Its huge, imposing and intimidating walls stood before the Children of Israel and God’s Promised Land for them. The Lord needed to raise Joshua’s vision, He said to him “See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valor.” (At this time Joshua and his soldiers were still outside the city walls). However, Joshua did as the Lord bid him and subsequently led the Children of Israel in a glorious conquest of Jericho. Hallelujah!

What can you see? This 2014, lift up your eyes above your environment, above the negative news around, above the prevalent economic conditions where you are and see. See your prosperity, see your victory, see your greatness. Hallelujah! The truth is sometimes you need to be alone to see, make times of meditation to form those images, to ‘imagine’ as it were, your greatness this 2014. Pastor Chris talks about ‘seeing’ and ‘talking’ sessions. Take time out regularly this year to do these, to envision your greatness, see it until that is all that you recognize and believe. If you do this continually, nothing will be impossible unto you.

2014 is a special year, a year of great achievement. In the very first article of Rhapsody of Realities this year, Pastor Chris says “One of your major determinations this year should be to achieve all that God has set in your heart to achieve, leaving nothing out” (Rhapsody of Realities, January 2014)

For us in LoveWorld Radio, this year is indeed a special one, through the participation of our Partners, the New Year Eve service with Pastor Chris was broadcast live on over 125 Radio stations in several countries as well as live on our 24/7 Internet Radio; LoveWorld Internet Radio (www.loveworldinternetradio.org).
