Trusting God for a Change in our situation-Isabella Orhin

As Christians we often wait on God to change a situation that is crating discomfort in our lives. It could be a relationship problem between us and our spouses or employers. If it is a daily affair, it can get really bad, causing us a lot of emotional distress and even stress related discomforts of the body. this situation can make us age prematurely and be emotionally unstable. some Christians even go to the extent of suffering from depression, developing a complainant attitude. they always argue about how God has been unfair to them, but has been fair to their colleagues who seem to be prospering and appear to be problem free.
beloved if this is your situation. Cheer up. I have been there before and I want to assure you that the almighty God has not forgotten about you. He promises you beauty for ashes, he says he will pay you double for any unfair treatment, for every word that was spoken to you that was not fair, all the years that the locusts have eaten will be rewarded.
I can assure you that God almighty will visit you soon. Keep on hanging in, in the midst of the stress that is threatening your health and life. the Lord almighty is holding you, you will not fall, you will not collapse. he neither slumbers not sleep. his grace and mercy will see you through and soon than later your situation will change to His glory, Halleluiah.

Depend On God’s Unmerited Favor, Not Favoritism

Meditate On And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. Acts 7:9–10 There is a significant difference between God’s unmerited favor and favoritism . God’s unmerited favor is based entirely on Jesus’ merit, and we received it through His finished work at the cross. We did nothing to deserve His favor. It is completely unmerited. Favoritism, however, stinks of self-effort. Individuals who rely on favoritism for promotion resort to apple-polishing, office politics, manipulative tactics, backstabbing and all kinds of compromises just to get what they want.
