Seven things the Lord hates

There are seven things the Lord hates and cannot tolerate.
A proud look,
A lying tongue
Hands that kill innocent people
A mind that thinks up wicked plans
Feet that hurry off to do evil
A witness who tells one lie after another
And someone who stirs up trouble among friends.
Prov.6 20. Good News Bible.

The Lord hates the Scornful

Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor stand in the way of sinners
nor sitteth on the seat of the scornful,
but his delight is in the law of the lord
and on his law he meditates day and night.

Psalm 1 :1 &2.Psalm 1:3

The Lord cares for those who obey his word.


It was the great writer Solomon who observed that, the Lord hates certain attitudes and behaviours which are sometimes common among human beings.
Tellings lies, back biting and undermining all fallen within these behaviours.
It is therefore important for us as christians we to put aside all these and focus our atttention on pleasing our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as we prepare for the second coming of the Lord.

He will live up to his word, he will come and reward those who diligently seek him.Therefore, wherever you are, whether at home, at the office, at a public gathering or any other place, let us ensure that we are not practising what the Lord hates.

It is very important. We should not stir up trouble among freinds, or create war where there is peace. The Lord Jesus hates all those who do that.
